Goods Inwards Administrator

Salary: Dependent on experience

Here at Van Mossel Jacksons we are seeking a motivated Goods Inward Administrator to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth receipt and processing of incoming goods. In this position, you will oversee inventory accuracy, manage documentation, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to maintain seamless operations. Core skills required:

• To unload and check accuracy of all incoming stock supplier deliveries

• To carry daily/weekly stock checks according to procedure, to ensure an accurate computer stock file

• To deal with returns from customers in a courteous, professional and knowledgeable way

• To ensure stock checks are carried out accurately

• To maintain general housekeeping duties within the warehouse, stock rotation and product group, cleanliness and tidiness in line with Company safety standards and expectations

• To ensure that stock orders are ready for collection or delivery

• To carry out the required security checks on all outgoing orders and deliveries

• Receive, verify, unpack and sort incoming materials in an organised fashion

• Provide service to walk-in customers

• Maintain accurate inventory records through the use of an on inventory locator control system

Hours: 40 hours per week over 5 days Monday to Saturday.
